Showed-up on eBay last week… seller sez he bought it from a comix-art dealer “This was purchased in a store in NYC around 2004 – I was a student at FIT, and was walking around close to the area, off Broadway, in the 20’s. A friend & I, spent about 40 minutes looking through boxes & boxes of Ned Sonntag art just like this in clear plastic sleeves (hundreds)” …Was not aware that I’d never put that much original art on the market, and I’d left NYC altogether by spring’97… lost in the mists of sleepdeprived memory, I suppose. Nice scan at least!
Clearly something’s about to transpire in the City of Marsport… a sketch from ’09, cleaned-up in crisp ink-on-bristol with brush&Rapidograph in Oct ’21
Happy Belated Eostre from Plasma P and her imaginary muse Corvid Seventeen… Plasma P has been MY Imaginary Friend since first appearing in a DIMENSIONS Magazine comicstrip episode in ’91. So happy 30th birthday Ms Plagueyears !
Hmm yes… quite an involved piece. Had started on it with the ‘Hot for Teacher’ theme and then Eddie Van Halen died a week into the project. That’s 2020 for ya…
fotocred Bryce Dwyer… Okay so the posts from 2019 back seem to still be correctly displaying, but I’ll have to fix or delete the 2020 stuff… a great relief to be able to use ‘my’ site again…
